On the outside, Axium portrays itself as a stronghold for unruly supernaturals, while at the same time providing work for those same supernaturals, but things aren't always as they seem. While it is true that some of the humans working with and for Axium have the good of all peoples in mind, many supernatural beings are forced into working for the M.O.B one way or another. The leaders of Axium don't seem to care how they get powerful creatures to work for them. They just want it done. This way, they have the ability to bring in or take down any other beings that may cause problems - or if they simply want to capture a certain individual. Of course, there are also some supernaturals who actually support the M.O.B and Axium of their own free will. Normally, because this gives them an excuse to murder and destroy, although everyone has their own reasons.
Axium's main headquarters is a huge, futuristic building that is situated on a large cluster of islands somewhere just off the coast of a place called Astheria. A second, smaller HQ can be found in Crystal City, as well as a third one close to the wilds of the Steppe. These buildings are home to the supernatural beings that work for the M.O.B. Some supernaturals manage to climb the ladder to special agent, in which case they are allowed to live outside of the compound. This doesn't always mean more freedom, but could actually mean more eyes watching your every move.
